Yoga as Therapy

Prevention and recovery is addressed in these individualized sessions. When we hold unconscious patterns in our body, pain, tissue damage and illness can occur. It happens in this order, not the reverse as commonly though. Work with me to become aware of these patterns and empower yourself to establish new ones.

Online Yoga Classes

Learn from the comfort of your home. Classes are specifically designed for the 65+ practitioner. They follow a structure that has been arranged to ensure safety, continued development and growth. Scroll down for subscription information.

In-Person Classes 65+

Similar to the Online Yoga Classes, but held in-person. These are held at the Canadian Memorial United Church in the Great Hall. Please see the Schedule page for more information on dates, times and fees.

Yoga as therapy


Yoga as Therapy are private sessions that are client-centered and work to address patterns in the soma (body/mind) that are causing pain or discomfort. The way that we hold ourselves, move and interact with the world around us is often unconscious. Though these patterns and habits were successful adaptations for a time, they may now be the root of physical imbalances, such as lower back pain or shoulder issues.
